Note: There are no car rental service counters at the San Diego International Airport. All car rental agencies are located off-site at the Rental Car Center. Free dedicated shuttles operate every few minutes to transport customers between the airport terminals and the Rental Car Center.

Rental car shuttles are located at the Transportation Plaza across from Terminal 1 and 2. Arriving passengers should use the baggage claim transportation phones to contact the rental car agencies.
