To honor those who serve, most Southern California theme parks offer discount or complimentary admission tickets for active members and veterans of the armed services and their families.
These passes or available to those who present their government-issued military identification cards at the theme park ticket window, but some are only available through your local base MWR/ITT ticket office.
Please check with the theme park you plan to visit for the proper way to obtain your theme park military discount.
To obtain military discount tickets, visit your local base MWR/ITT ticket office to purchase your tickets. If your local base does not have tickets on hand, they will try to pre-order for you. It is recommended that you call them ahead of time to make these arrangements. The ticket office can usually have your tickets within 5 business days.
You can also order your tickets via the phone by contacting Commander, Navy Region, Southwest at (619) 767-6000. Your tickets will arrive via the U.S. mail within 7 business days. Overnight service is also available for a nominal fee.
The best military discounts to Knott's Berry Farm, for active and retired military personnel can be obtained by visiting your local Military Ticket Office on base.
Alternatively, show your Military I.D. card and save on Knott's Berry Farm Regular admission tickets. Active military personnel receive Knott's Berry Farm Regular admission tickets for only $48 for adults and $45 for children/seniors. (offer does not apply to Special Ticketed Events, i.e. Knott's Scary Farm).
Universal Studios Hollywood offers discount options to all members of US Armed Forces all year long!
Eligible members include retirees, DOD personnel, members of the National Guard/Reserves, dependents and all other base personnel.
Tickets for these specially priced offers must be purchased in advance and can only be obtained at participating MWR/ITT offices throughout the United States. These special military rates are not available at the Universal Studios Hollywood box office. A military or U.S. Government I.D. is required for purchase.
If you do not pre-purchase your tickets before arriving to the park, you are still eligible for a $3.00 discount off General Admission tickets and $3.00 off 48" and below tickets.

Aquarium of the Pacific offers discount tickets to military personnel. Visit your local MWR/ITT office on base to purchase your discounted Aquarium of the Pacific tickets. For military personnel without pre-purchased tickets, present your military ID card at the ticket window to receive $3.00 off adult admission and $1.50 off child admission.
For 2020 Disneyland Resort is saluting active and retired U.S. military personnel by offering Military Promotional 3-Day and 4-Day Park Hopper Tickets. This offer is available to active and retired U.S. military personnel or their spouses.
Disney Military Promotional Tickets can be purchased at participating U.S. military sales outlets only by active and retired U.S. military personnel for themselves and up to five additional family members or friends. No more than six Disney Military Promotional Tickets may be purchased and (if applicable) activated by any eligible member of the U.S. military (or spouse) pursuant to this offer. In addition, all six must be purchased at the same time and one of the six must be for use by the eligible member of the U.S. military (or spouse). Valid military identification is required.
Free Annual Pass for U.S. Military
Active U.S. military members and dependents in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard as well as Reserve and National Guard members can pick up a free annual pass at any national park that charges an entry fee. The annual military pass provides free entry to 398 national parks and 2,000 additional Federal recreation sites across the country.
Passes must be obtained in person at a Federal recreation site by showing a Common Access Card (CAC) or Military ID (Form 1173).
