LEGOLAND® California is a 128-acre family theme park located in Carlsbad, a seaside community 30 miles north of San Diego and one hour south of Anaheim. This interactive theme park is dedicated to families with children.

LEGOLAND California offers interactive attractions, family rides, shows, restaurants, shopping and beautiful landscape features specially geared for children ages 2-12 and their families. Just like with Lego toys, kids make things happen at the Park.

Hop on Coastersaurus and take a journey through a time-forgotten prehistoric jungle. Dig for life-like fossils at Dig Those Dinos. Or, pump up the fun as you race to hose down a burning building at the Fun Town Fire Academy.

Your kids can drive, pedal, squirt, climb, jump, stomp, slide, steer, pull, click, push, gallop, laugh, build and program their way through more than 50 rides and attractions.

There are more than 15,000 LEGO® models in the Park created from more than 35 million LEGO bricks. These models range from a Brontosaurus named Bronte (made of more than 2 million LEGO bricks) to a tiny rabbit in a magician’s hat in Miniland Las Vegas made of just four bricks. The fun is endless.

LEGO® NINJAGO® WORLD
Train like a ninja and experience the new interactive 4D ride which enable guests to control the outcome of their adventure just by using their hands. Earn ninja status while you're at it.

Land of Adventure
The Land of Adventure, LEGOLAND California’s newest area, takes you inside the Lost Kingdom, down darkened corridors to uncover a forgotten empire, hunt for treasure and blast targets with lasers while keeping score of your expedition's success. But make sure you have enough energy to explore the rest of the Land of Adventure. Kids' imagination soar on Cargo Ace airplanes. Beetle Bounce boosts children even higher as they are launched up on Egyptian obelisks. And at Pharaoh's Revenge, the whole family can blast, dump and barrage thousands of foam balls at each other in this ultimate oasis of fun!

Dino Island

Here young paleontologists can brush up on their excavation skills as they dig for buried "fossils" in Dig Those Dinos. Then, climb, curve and dip through a prehistoric jungle on Coastersaurus.

Explore Village

Here's your chance to drive your own jeep on a safari Trek with life-sized LEGO jungle animals. You can also take a boat ride through your favorite storybook adventures.

Fun Town Police and Fire Academy

In Fun Town Fire Academy, families pile into a fire truck and power it by pumping levers up and down as they race other families to put out the "fire". The first family to make it back wins. Kids can take control of their own LEGOLAND car, plane, helicopter or boat. They can even get their own driver's license. At at Fun Town Police and Fire Academy, there is fun for the entire family. Test your family's fitness, speed, and funny bone in a hilarious race to hose down a burning building at Fun Town Fire Academy.

Pirate Shores
Come aboard for an incredible, swashbuckling adventure at the all new Pirate Shores. Set sail on the high seas in a pirate galleon. Command your own water cannon at Splash Battle, and get ready to use water cannons as you drop in on some mischievous monkeys at Treasure Falls or play in the crystal clear waters of Swabbies Deck.

Castle Hill
Young knights test their bravery on the spine-tingling adventure, Knights’ Tournament, where cutting edge robotic technology meets medieval LEGO® fun.
Protect your kingdom and do battle with fierce creatures found at Knights' Tournament and The Dragon coaster. Romp through the Hideaways and joust astride LEGO built horses.

Firefighters Wanted
The LEGOLAND® Fire Department needs YOU! Report for duty and you'll be driving your own fire truck as you race to hose down a burning building at Fun Town Fire Academy.

Imagination Zone
Design and build your own race car or compete in Robosports with LEGO MINDSTORMS robots. This is also home of the thunderous LEGO TECHNIC Coaster and drenching AQUAZONE Wave Racers.

Miniland USA
Over 24 million LEGO bricks form spectacular reproductions of American landmarks including, the Las Vegas Strip, New York City and Washington DC.

LEGO Star Wars at Miniland

LEGO Star Wars at Miniland is made out of 1.5 million LEGO® bricks built in 1:20 scale, guests will enjoy seven of the most famous scenes from the six live-action Star Wars movies.

Some of the 2,000 LEGO models are more than 6-feet-tall and look even more lifelike. Complete with authentic Star Wars sounds, actions and lighting effects, this hands-on exhibit features interactive buttons that will allow children to activate animations throughout the scenes.

LEGOLAND Park Hours

The park opens daily at 10am from mid-May through Labor Day and during specific holiday periods in the spring and winter. The remainder of the year the Park operates five days a week closing on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Parking
Cars - $15, Campers/RVs - $20, Motorcycles $5. Buses and bicycles are free. Preferred Parking is available for $25.

How to get to LEGOLAND California

Getting There

By Car
LEGOLAND® California is located at One LEGOLAND Drive, just off Interstate 5, in the seaside village of Carlsbad, 30 minutes north of San Diego and one hour south of Anaheim.

Exit Interstate 5 at Cannon Road in Carlsbad. Go east, following signs to LEGOLAND Drive.

The San Diego Airport (SAN - San Diego) is located approx. 35 miles from LEGOLAND California.

The Los Angeles International Airport (LAX - Los Angeles) is located approx. 90 miles from LEGOLAND California.

Amtrak California How to get to LEGOLAND California via Amtrak

Take the Pacific Surfliner to Oceanside Station.

At the Oceanside train station, take a short walk to Coast Highway and Topeka Street (about a 2 minute walk) then take North County Transit Bus 101 to Carlsbad Village Station (about 13 minutes). Transfer to Bus 321 which will take you to the LEGOLAND Main Bus Stop. (about 16 minutes).

As an alternative, Yellow Cab which serves the North County, is about a 13 minute cab ride from the Train Station to LEGOLAND.

The Oceanside Amtrak Station is 7.5 miles, Carlsbad Poinsettia Station is 3 miles, Carlsbad Village Station is 4.5 miles from LEGOLAND
