After years of urban renewal and renovation, Hollywood Boulevard more than ever is a tourist destination that cannot be missed.

Enjoy the Walk of Fame, Entertainment Museum, Grauman’s Chinese Theatre and more. Stop at the Hollywood & Highland complex for some shopping and nice restaurants, and the Kodak Theater (home of the Academy Awards).

Hollywood Bowl is the largest natural outdoor amphitheater in the United States. The bowl features a dramatic state-of-the-art stage and is a friendly sociable place where Southern Californians gather to picnic and enjoy outstanding music under the stars.

The Hollywood Bowl is also the summer home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the home of the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. Note: On some mornings, the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s rehearsals at the Bowl are open to the public and absolutely free. Call (323)-850-2000 for the latest information.

Dolby Theatre
Dolby Theatre

The 3,332 seat Dolby Theatre which opened in November 2001 is the first permanent home of the Academy Awards. Located on Hollywood & Highland, the Dolby Theatre is the crown jewel of a retail, dining and entertainment complex.

Guided theatre tours are offered seven days a week from 10:30am - 4:00pm, departing every 30 minutes. The walking tour offers visitors architectural and historical highlights of the world-renowned venue, as well as a glimpse of the ultra glamorous side of Kodak Theatre on Hollywood’s biggest night – the Oscars®.

Take a stroll on Hollywood Boulevard (between Vine and La Brea). On the sidewalk shines more than 2,300 terrazzo and brass stars. This section of Hollywood Blvd, commemorate famous people who have made significant contributions in television, motion pictures, radio, recording and live performance.

Walk the Hollywood Walk of Fame to find the stars of your favorite celebrities. Among the stars most sought out are Marilyn Monroe at 1644 Hollywood Blvd., Steven Spielberg at 7046 Hollywood Blvd., Charlize Theron at 6801 Hollywood Blvd., Elvis Presley at 6777 Hollywood Blvd., The Beatles at 7051 Hollywood Blvd., and Johnny Depp at 7018 Hollywood Blvd.

TCL Chinese Theatre
TCL Chinese Theatre

More than 4 million people from all over the world visit Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard every year. Built by master showman Sid Grauman, this theatre is still a popular location for celebrity-packed studio premieres.

Visit the Forecourt of the Stars at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre and measure your hands and feet against the footprints and hand prints of Hollywood legends.

Disney's El Capitan

Located across the street from the Hollywood & Highland entertainment complex The El Capitan Theatre debuted on May 3, 1926, as "Hollywood's First Home of Spoken Drama." In 1989, the Walt Disney Co. joined with Pacific Theatres to begin a restoration of the legendary palace. Now, as an exclusive first-run theater for Walt Disney Pictures, it hosts live stage shows, world premieres and other special events that have helped restore showmanship to Hollywood Boulevard.

Located in the heart of Hollywood, the 40,000 sq ft., 3 story building is home to celebrity wax figures. Set in 11 themed areas, wax figures are displayed according to the themes such as Westerns, Making Movies, Crime, Sport, Action Heros, etc. At Madame Tussaud's Hollywood, not only will you be able to see your favorite celebs up close, the figures can also be touched and you are allowed to take photos next to them.

Hollywood Sign

You have seen it in the movies and on print. Now take a look at this LA landmark, the Hollywood Sign. There are a few places you can visit to get a good view of the Hollywood Sign. 1) The viewing area at the Hollywood & Highland shopping and entertainment complex next to Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. 2) Drive up Beachwood Canyon for a closer look. 3) Look up Gower Boulevard for a great view of the sign.

Note: The sign itself is fenced off from the public, so there is no legal access to it.

Farmers Market and The Grove

The Grove is a new shopping complex right next to the Farmers Market. Admired for it's beautiful architecture, outdoor grass area, and dancing fountains, The Grove is a fantastic LA shopping destination.

Enjoy a movie or shopping, and then take the trolley to the Farmers Market for lunch or dinner.
