Van Nuys FlyAway offers a convenient non-stop bus service from Van Nuys to and from each of Los Angeles International Airport's (LAX) terminals. Buses operate 7 days a week including holidays, generally on the hour and half-hour - no reservations are required.

Fare - $9.75 one-way
Children 5 and under ride free with paid adult fare.

Up to 2 (two) Children 5 years and younger ride free with paying adult.
Tickets may be purchased on the bus with Visa, Master Card or American Express credit or debit cards. (Cash is not accepted on any route). All sales are final.
Flyaway accepts TAP card or EZ Transit Pass as payment option (see details below)
Tickets are valid 30-days from the date of purchase and are good for any time of day.

Van Nuys FlyAway Fares for TAP-EZ Transit Pass holders

Van Nuys riders can use stored value on their TAP cards and TAP EZ passes to buy a ticket. To do so, procceed to the ticket counter to complete your TAP purchase from a cashier using a TAP card.

TAP-EZ Transit Pass holders will receive a discounted fare or ride for free, depending on the EZ zones loaded on the TAP card. Below is a list of fares for FlyAway TAP and EZ Pass holders:

Patrons with Zone 6 or above will enjoy the FlyAway bus rides at no additional cost.
TAP card users with stored value will save $2 for Westwood and $1 for Long Beach.

Note: Sufficient stored value must be available on the TAP card for deductions. Insufficient stored value will result in an invalid reading by the TAP card reader and will require purchasing of a ticket at full fare with a debit/credit card.

Travelling to LAX from Van Nuys
1. Proceed to the ticket booth and hand over your TAP-EZ Pass to the ticket agent.
2. Ticket agent will tap and return your TAP-EZ Pass.
3. Receive and retain a verification ticket from ticket agent.
4. Return the verification ticket to ticket agent prior to boarding.

Travelling from LAX to Van Nuys
1. Proceed to the ticket booth and hand over your TAP-EZ Pass to the ticket agent.
2. Ticket agent will tap and return your TAP-EZ Pass.
