How to get to Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure Park
Getting There

There are lots of ways to make this trip. Take a taxi, a shuttle, bus, etc.

LAX to Disneyland is a 35 mile trip. Under normal circumstances, this trip should take about 40 minutes, but nothing is normal in LA. Los Angeles traffic can be a nightmare. For that reason, taking a taxi can cost anywhere from $60 to $120. Our advise! "Avoid taking a taxi at all costs".

The cheapest and most efficient way to make this trip is to rent a car when you arrive at the airport.

How to get to Disneyland from Downtown Los Angeles
Take the Red Line (subway) to Downtown Los Angeles, get off at 7th/Metro, walk out of the station to Wilshire and Flower, and catch the 460 Express straight to Disneyland. Couldn't be easier, but it will take about 2 hours. You can get schedules and other information at

How to get to Disneyland via Amtrak
Take the Pacific Surfliner to Anaheim Station. From there, take Anaheim Resort Transit Route 15 shuttle service to Disneyland® Resort.

Alternatively, you may take Orange County Transit (OCTA) Bus Route 50 from Anaheim Amtrak Station and exit at the Katella-Harbor Boulevard stop with a short walk along Harbor Boulevard (approximately 3 blocks) to the Disneyland® Resort.
