Located north of Los Angeles in Valencia, Six Flags Magic Mountain is one of the most well-known parks in the Six Flags amusement park chain, and is the only park in the chain to be open year-round.

Directions to Magic Mountain from Downtown Los Angeles
Getting to Six Flags Magic Mountain by public transportation can be a little complex. Driving there should always be your first option but if you have to take public transportation, here are the directions.
From Union Station Downtown LA., take the Metro Link train (Antelope Valley Line) get off at the Newhall station. Take the Santa Clarita transit bus 1 or 2 to the transit centre and transfer again to bus 3 or 7 to Magic Mountain.

Do you know that you can board your pet for FREE at Six Flags kennel while you visit the park. The kennel is located in the main parking lot. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PET IN OR TIED TO A VEHICLE WHILE YOU VISIT THE PARK.
Bring a jacket or sweatshirt for cool mornings and evenings. Store it in the lockers near the main entrance.
Arrange a meeting place and time in case your party becomes separated.
