of buses, Metrolink commuter-rail service,

You do not need to rent a car in order to travel from Anaheim hotels to Disneyland® and California Adventure. Many hotels offer free shuttle service to the parks and there is also a very inexpensive shuttle service called Anaheim Resort Transit (ART) that can provide you and your family with easy and convenient connections between hotels, Disneyland®, Disney's California Adventure, Downtown Disney®, the Anaheim Convention Center, shopping, dining and evening entertainment. If you arrive at John Wayne Airport Orange County and need to rent a car, Alamo, Avis, Budget, Hertz, Enterprise, National, and Thrifty all have rental counters inside the arrivals terminal at John Wayne Airport. You can easily get a shuttle from John Wayne Airport Orange County. A number of door-to-door shuttles operate out of John Wayne Airport. These shuttles operate every few minutes and are located on the Arrival (Lower) Level in the Ground Transportation Center. A Transportation Coordinator will place you with the first available shuttle, unless you specify a particular shuttle company.

5) Car pool lanes are for vehicles with two or more passengers. (Infants count, pets do not!) To enter or exit the carpool lane properly and legally you must wait until the broken white line appears. If you cross the double yellow line to get in or out of a carpool lane you will be given a ticket and a stiff fine of $271.00. 6) Starting July 1, 2008 it will be against the law to drive on California roads while talking on your cellphone. All drivers must use a hands-free device.
