Downtown Disney® district is a new entertainment, shopping and dining complex, located just outside the front gates to both theme parks. Featuring 21 unique shops, live entertainment and an array of fine restaurants including Rainforest Cafe, ESPN Zone and the House of Blues.

Parking at Disneyland

 

Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure : Cars and motorcycles, $14; motor homes and oversize-vehicles, $20; buses, tractor trailers, $25.

 

Downtown Disney : self-park, first 3 hours, free. AMC Theatres and table-service restaurants validate additional 2 hours. Each additional hour, $6 (prorated in 20-minute increments); max. $30 (valet, add $6).

Disneyland New Attractions

 

Star Tours in 3-D : The Adventures Continue — Disney reinvented its Star Tours motion-simulator rides. In the reimagined Star Tours in Disneyland Park's Tomorrowland, not only will guests zip to other intergalactic destinations, they'll do so in thrilling 3-D for the first time. Passengers will zip to Coruscant and other destinations aboard a Starspeeder 1000 and a high-speed pod race through the desert canyons of Tatooine, Luke Skywalker's home planet.

 

Mickey's Soundsational Parade - Described as "the most foot-stomping, infectious festival of music you've ever seen — or heard," Mickey's Soundsational Parade focuses on Disney's treasure trove of beloved melodies. Both live musicians and Disney characters play instruments and encourage members of the crowd to join in on their giant jam session.

How to get to Disneyland

 

How do I get to Disneyland from LAX

 

There are lots of ways to make this trip. Take a taxi, a shuttle, bus, etc.

LAX to Disneyland is a 35 mile trip. Under normal circumstances, this trip should take about 40 minutes, but nothing is normal in LA. Los Angeles traffic can be a nightmare. For that reason, taking a taxi can cost anywhere from $60 to $120. Our advise! "Avoid taking a taxi at all costs".

The cheapest and most efficient way to make this trip is to take the Disneyland Resort Express Bus.
This bus will pick you up at LAX and drop you at your Disneyland area hotel. The fare is $22 per adult and $19 for a child. Here is more information on how to get discount tickets and where to catch the Disneyland Resort Express Bus.

 

How to get to Disneyland from Downtown Los Angeles

 

Take the Red Line (subway) to Downtown Los Angeles, get off at 7th/Metro, walk out of the station to Wilshire and Flower, and catch the 460 Express straight to Disneyland. Couldn't be easier, but it will take about 2 hours. You can get schedules and other information at www.metro.net
